In the “About Me” section, you’ll learn my credentials, certifications, and professional membership affiliations. You’ll also learn a bit more about how I got here, doing what I’m doing.

While I have specific training in counseling and in Reiki, much of the work that I do is intuitive; one could go so far to say, psychic in nature.

I want to make it clear that psychic information can be misunderstood by me or by you. Tapping into other realms of communication can sometimes be like playing that old game of “lightening” or “gossip”. Remember that one? You would sit around in a circle with your friends and one person would whisper something to the other and round the circle it would go. The last person would repeat it out loud and it was always such a kick to find out that at the end, it was NOTHING like the original message. Sometimes it’s like that with the information that flows to me. Sometimes I misinterpret it, sometimes I’m just plain wrong.

It is your responsibility as a consumer to determine if the information seems valid and useful. If it is useful and makes intuitive sense to you, use it. If it seems off base, discard it (and hopefully tell me I seem to be way off track).

I am confident in my work as an energy healer and as a counselor. When it comes to the psychic realm (i.e., impressions about past lives, or visitations from spirits), I tell it like I see/hear it, in humble acknowledgement that I am an imperfect instrument, always learning, always growing, and fully fallible.

Because the psychic information I receive at this time in my life is somewhat inconsistent or episodic, I do not claim to offer psychic readings, act as a medium or channel or conduct past life regressions. I give my impressions, or share the thoughts that come through me. I have a human, physical brain...it is always filtering, second-guessing and trying to get a clearer reception of the beings of light that assist us all.

By the same token, I don’t work like a vending machine. You can’t put a quarter in my mouth and push a button that puts you in touch with your dearly departed Aunt Bessy.

So buyer beware. That’s always good common sense anyway. Anybody who claims to have a firm grasp on the psychic world is a person I am suspicious of. Many people, being human, want so much to create a set of hard and fast rules about the way the ethers work. There is more that is unknown than known. We are all amazingly gifted, and yet, still stuck in slow, human form.

So that’s my politically correct way of saying, it’s possible “I don’t know squat” but I’m willing to journey with you and together we can attempt to interpret and utilize the information that is available for the greater good.

If at any time, you are dissatisfied with the service I have provided, please-oh-please, discuss it with me. I know some of you think I am, but I am NOT a mind reader. I can only attempt to remedy, that which I am made aware of. I will do my best to correct a problem, or assist in making a referral to a practitioner better suited for your needs or personality style.

While I am trained and qualified to diagnose and treat mental illness, this is not my professional focus. I screen potential clients for physical and emotional stability and if it is clear to me that you need preliminary treatment for stabilization of a physical or emotional illness, I may decline to treat you until you have stabilized your condition either with your primary care physician or with a mental health provider. I may request a referral from one of these providers prior to scheduling treatment.
