Counseling with integrative body-work is a holistic approach that enlists the cooperation of mind, body and spirit simultaneously to release stuck emotion or memories that can impede your progress physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
This approach typically requires fewer sessions, less frequency and a more episodic or “as needed” treatment schedule.
What happens in a counseling session where integrative body-work is utilized ordinarily entails my holding your head or laying light hands on other areas that one or both of us may be guided to address. I incorporate guided imagery, visualization and discussion. Many people fall asleep and even snore loudly during their session. Energy is still moving in a positive direction even if you think you missed it.
Our bodies utilize a great deal of electricity and I can act as a conduit for the movement of energy and electricity and can teach you how to access and utilize this energy on your own for yourself and others.
Our work together may improve health through our combined positive intention, the medicinal benefits of learning deep relaxation and the gentle release of toxic emotions.
Your body and your inner being know what is best for you.
I am available to meet with you in person, by phone, or via email. My per hour rate is the same regardless of modality. Distance healing sessions can be as effective as in-person sessions if you are not able to meet in person.
Locals may pay with a local check. Those from out of town requesting distance healing, phone counseling or email counseling will need to pay in cash, money order or cashier’s check which must be received in advance of sessions.

“I think that any time there is an exchange of energy, a laying on of hands, focus and concentration, intimate connection of the truly caring kind, there is a therapeutic effect. It may not be measurable or controllable, but that’s not to say it isn’t real. This is more magic than science. For now, evaluation will have to be anecdotal, which is usually good enough for me. The simple belief that an experience will be healing accounts for many, many positive results.
I cannot know whether or not your instruction/suggestion to ‘let go and trust’, followed by your treatment, set me up to receive what appears to be unexplainable twists of fate. All I know is that they are happening, and quickly. Coincidences? Dumb luck? Or some miraculous power which is moving in my life. My intuitive sense is that your work was a catalyst bringing things to fruition which may have happened eventually anyway, or not, once I was willing to experiment just a little bit.” |

“Believe nothing, O Monks, merely because you have been told it… or because it is traditional, or because you yourselves have imagined it. Do not believe what your teacher tells you merely out of respect for the teacher. But whatsoever, after due examination and analysis, you find to be conducive to the good, the benefit, the welfare of all beings… that doctrine believe and cling to, and take it as your guide.”

“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”

The future is not a result of choices among alternative paths offered by the present, but a place that is created— created first in the mind and will—created next by activity. The future is not some place we are going to, but one we are creating. The paths are not to be found, but made, and the activity of making them, changes both the maker and the destination.
