Agate, a mixed breed, is Elizabeth's pet and the mother of the 7 baby bunnies photographed in Rabbits In A Row! Here is Agate with several of her new baby rabbits, born March 30, 2000 Agate will be a year old in July 2000.

-Agate, lovingly known as Aggie, is a mixed breed, and I got her in August of 1999 when she was 6 weeks old. She spent the first few weeks with me in the house, but I soon moved her outside. You can see her hutch below, as well as four photos taken when she was 6 weeks old, and some just recently. Aggie has quite a personality...she definitely believes my Barbie Doll bed belongs to her personally!
-In February of 2000 I had Aggie bred, and on March 30, 2000 she gave birth to 7 baby bunnies! She's a terrific mother, and I'm doing my 4-H project with her babies. I hope you follow their progress in the Baby Bunny Growing Gallery and watch them grow with me! I wish I could keep them all, they're so darling. Won't happen, but they'll be happy, healthy rabbits and have loving homes when they leave me--guaranteed. :)

Aggie is a pretty good size rabbit and she's very curious about what's above her seeing level!
Aggie lives outside all the time, even in the winter.
Aggie has the run of the house, too! Here she is April 20, 2000 with her 3 week old babies.

Agate loves to stretch out and get good and comfy. Here she takes a break from the babies and lets ME chase after them!!
