Dear Friends in Christ,
One January day in 2007 Bernie Carper and Chuck Wilson drove to Pasco to talk to an old preacher and his wife about the possibility of their becoming your interim pastor and wife. Out of that talk came a decision that this was, indeed, what God had in mind for us, and so it became a reality.
Now, with our ministry among you due to end in less than two weeks, we look back at how gracious God was in letting us serve with you. You have blessed us, you have loved us, you have treated us much better than we deserve. You have made our time here something that we will remember the rest of our lives. We praise and thank our Lord and God for bringing us together.
We knew the day we started our ministry here that it would not last. By the very nature interim ministries seldom last over a year or at most two. That is the way it is intended to be and we are content knowing it is all part of God's plan. In a way, we wish it weren't but it is and we know that God's way is much better than ours.
