Some people seem to be against doing anything to change an original doll, and for the most part, I agree, but most Compo dolls have at least some crazing. I think that, to have crazing mar an otherwise beautiful doll is a shame. The Craze Concealer that I use is a non permanent product, that really works wonders, it not only hides crazing, but enhances, and brings out the original sheen,and natural beauty of the paint.

I have talked to a lady that produces a craze concealer, she has dolls that she treated years ago, they have not crazed any more, and still maintain their beauty and sheen. I see nothing wrong with using such a product. It is not paint, and does not cover the paint, it only fills the little craze cracks, It is no different than waxing your furniture to hide little scratches, and slight imperfections.

If you sell a doll that has been craze concealed, you should state in your description that she has been treated, but sometimes you can't even see it at all with the naked eye. I love originality and want to keep the dolls that way, but the dolls were not originally crazed, so it is NOT a part of their originality.
