CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON
                         RESOLUTION 1055
               

          A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A RESERVE FUND FOR 
               THE PURCHASE OF FIRE AND AMBULANCE
                  EMERGENCY RESPONSE VEHICLES 





WHEREAS, There is a need to accumulate monies for the future
purchase of fire Department and Ambulance emergency response
vehicles, and;

WHEREAS, The 1998/1999 budget appropriated funds to initiate this
reserve fund;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,  That an Emergency Vehicle Reserve
Fund is hereby established, per ORS 280.100.
