CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON

RESOLUTION  1054 (1999)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL 
REQUESTING FUNDING ASSISTANCE FROM UNION COUNTY



WHEREAS: The City of Elgin, through its City Council, Elgin 2010 and Elgin
EDGE have determined that acquiring a small business incubator facility is a
primary objective for future development and long term economic health of the
community and;

WHEREAS: The City of Elgin is preparing an earnest money offer to purchase
property to be developed for such an incubator facility, and;

WHEREAS: The offer is to be contingent upon obtaining financing for the said
purchase;
      


NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:

That the City of Elgin hereby requests the assistance of the Union County
Board of Commissioners to obtain the funds necessary to purchase property
for development of an incubator facility.
