                        RESOLUTION 1048 (1998)
      A RESOLUTION SETTING EMPLOYEE WAGES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1998/99

WHEREAS, the City Council sets City employee wages, and;

WHEREAS, the budget adopted for 1998/99 provides for changes in wages;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the current wages for Regular Full-time
and Regular Part-time personnel working on July 1, 1998, by position, effective
from July 1, 1998, shall be as follows:

and; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that wages for probationary employees shall be set by
the Council on a case by case basis with consideration given to the budgeted wages for
that position.
