CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON 

                     RESOLUTION  1047 (1998)
             A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND APPROVING 
             CERTAIN PROPERTY BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENTS.

WHEREAS: The legal descriptions of the boundaries of certain properties adjacent
to Hartford Street and North 11th Ave. are not coincident with the recognized
physical boundaries (map attached), and;

WHEREAS: There is a need to resolve this discrepancy, and;

WHEREAS: There is an agreement among the several property owners that the
legal description of these properties be redefined to be identical to the
established physical boundaries, and;

WHEREAS: These properties have been surveyed and proper legal descriptions
have been prepared;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
      That the City of Elgin recognizes these new legal boundaries.  
Further, BE IT RESOLVED: 
      That the new boundaries are in compliance with applicable City zoning and
building regulations, and creates no adverse impact on these properties or
surrounding properties.
