CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON
                         RESOLUTION 1044

          A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A RESERVE FUND FOR 
        THE CONSTRUCTION/PURCHASE OF A BUILDING TO HOUSE
                  EMERGENCY SERVICES EQUIPMENT 



WHEREAS, There is a need to accumulate monies for the future
construction/purchase of a building to house fire and other
emergency response equipment, and;

WHEREAS, The 1997/1998 budget appropriated funds to initiate this
reserve fund;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,  That an Emergency Response Building
Reserve Fund is hereby established, per ORS 280.100.
