CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON 

                   RESOLUTION  1041 (1997)
           A RESOLUTION GRANTING CONDITIONAL USES 
   FOR KEEPING HORSES OR MULES TO VARIOUS PROPERTY OWNERS

WHEREAS:  Resolution 1039 directed the Ordinance Enforcement Officer to identify
existing livestock uses in the R-1 Zone for the purpose of granting a conditional
use permit to property owners whose current use is presumed to be legally
established, and;

WHEREAS: Several property owners have been identified as having existing
livestock uses that have been presumed to be legal;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the following property owners are
granted Conditional Use Permits for livestock uses as provided by Ordinance 123
and subject to the conditions thereof as if individual conditional uses had been
granted by application and hearing under the provisions of Ordinance 123.
