CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON
RESOLUTION 1032 (1997)
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DEED FOR AN ALLEY
IN BLOCK 60 OF HINDMAN'S ADDITION
WHEREAS: The several property owners of a parcel of land historically used as
a public alley have presented a deed for this property to the City of Elgin, and;
WHEREAS: It is in the best interest of the several businesses and residences
adjacent to this property, to insure that the said property continue to be open
for use as a public alley;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
That the City of Elgin accepts the deed (recorded as document #971038
Union County) for a parcel of land to be used as a public alley; the parcel being
described as follows: the east 15 feet of Lots 5 and 16 of Block 60, Hindman's
Addition to Elgin, Union County, Oregon.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That the City accepts the said parcel for the primary use of the several
businesses and residences that adjoin the parcel without obligation to improve
the alley beyond its existing condition.
