CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON

                         RESOLUTION 1028
          A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A RESERVE FUND FOR 
              THE PURCHASE OF PUBLIC WORK EQUIPMENT




WHEREAS, There is a need to accumulate monies for the future
purchase of heavy equipment, and;

WHEREAS, The 1996/1997 budget reserved funds for the purchase of
heavy equipment;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,  That a Public Works Equipment
Reserve Fund is hereby established, per ORS 280.100.
