CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON
                    RESOLUTION  1001  (1996)


      A RESOLUTION MAKING CONTINGENCY APPROPRIATIONS WITHIN
              THE GENERAL FUND SOLID WASTE CAPITAL

WHEREAS; Solid Waste Capital Expenditures of the General Fund has
had expenditures greater than anticipated; and

WHEREAS, Limiting these expenditures would adversely effect the
operation of the City; and

WHEREAS, The General Fund has adequate resources to cover these
expenditures;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That; 
Contingency funds are appropriated as follows:
General Fund Solid Waste Capital Expenditure increased by $1,700 

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of March 1996;

With Councilors voting as follows:
  6  Ayes,   0  Nays,   0  Abstentions,   1  Absent.
