Blue Mountain Peggers

First "28 Hand"
Date: 12/11/08

Jason Frey held onto the club's first 28 hand against Jeremy Morris on December 11, 2008.  It was Jason's first "Official" night, he had played as a guest previously in the year.  Unfortunately his luck stopped there, Jeremy went on to beat Jason in the game.  To add insult to injury, half the skunk pot was only $11.50 since we are such a new club.

Second "28 Hand"
Date: 12/14/08

Lou Gardner was visiting the area from his normal Grass Roots club in Georgia.  He decided to stop in a play a few tournaments.  He played in our regular weekly tournament and then played in our Grass Roots Regional Tournament held on December 14.  Good thing he did, while playing Nod Palmer he cut a 28 hand.  Unfortunately since it was not a regular tournament, his only award will come from Grass Roots.  Good job Lou, come back any time.
