We fund services that help achieve broad community goals like helping youth learn and develop into healthy, productive adults, strengthening families, promoting self-sufficiency and building safer communities. Through United Way of Eastern Oregon, your contribution is distributed with the greatest of care. Agencies must prove they are doing the best possible job of meeting community needs and priorities. United Way volunteers analyze budget requests and review every program. They investigate the agencies' performance, administration and financial management, as well as its responsiveness to donors' needs. United Way of Eastern Oregon operates solely for the benefit of the residents of Union & Baker Counties. One out of three people in Union & Baker County receives a helping hand from United Way's agencies. Seniors, men, women, children, families.... we all benefit from these essential services.
