Jan Beitel artist, is a native Oregonion, the descendent of pioneers. She has been described as a communicator,
for many years she ran her Graphics Design business, the thread of art was always present in her work. She painted portraits, western scenes, rodeo and florals in watercolor and acrylic. Many of these fine works can be viewed on the pages of this website.
Retired now, she lives in Eastern Oregon with her husband Bob, they have three grown children, Danny, Diana and Andy. Jan can now paint fulltime, she can be found in her studio working on her latest project, enjoying the challenge presented by her subjects.
Jan says her art is a communication of an artists view of the world at a moment in time. she hopes the viewer will enjoy the moment she has captured. Jan's work delights the senses in color and design, realistic and painterly.
