Chapter 3.04  STREET IMPROVEMENT FUND

3.04.010    Created.
      A special fund is created to receive voluntary contributions from private
citizens for maintenance of streets. (Ord. 1-1993 par 1)

3.04.020    Purpose.
      The city of Elgin is authorized to appropriate these funds according to
Oregon budget law, for the purpose of making improvements to and/or
maintenance of streets adjacent to the property of those citizens making
contributions to the fund. (Ord. 1-1993 par 2)

3.04.030    Refunds.
      Any contributions not used for the improvements of streets adjacent to the
property of the contributors, shall be refunded to the contributing property
owners in proportion to the contributions made by the contributors. (Ord. 1-1993
par 3)
