CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON
RESOLUTION  1082 (2000)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL 
REQUESTING CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN ELGIN
TO BE ADDED TO THE GRANDE RONDE ENTERPRISE ZONE


WHEREAS: The City of Elgin, Elgin 2010, Elgin EDGE and the Elgin Chamber of Commerce
have pursued the diversification of the community's economic base, and;

WHEREAS: There now exists the possibility of having properties within Elgin added to the
Grande Ronde Enterprise Zone;
     
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:

That the Elgin City Council hereby requests that a boundary change to the Grande Ronde
Enterprise Zone be made, such that certain properties within the City of Elgin should be include
therein;
Those properties being described as:
Union County tax lot 1N 39 22  #400, approximately 19.5 acres;
That portion of Union County tax lot 1N 39 15 #800 to be acquired by UCEDC, approximately
15 acres;
Union County tax lot 1N 39 15DC #1000, approximately 1.5 acres; and,
Union County tax lot 1N 39 15DB #9800, approximately 1.2 acres.
