CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON
RESOLUTION  1077 (2000)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL 
MAKING CONTINGENCY APPROPRIATIONS WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND




WHEREAS: Certain expenditures of the Fire Department, Library and Building Maintenance
have exceed the budgeted appropriations, and;

WHEREAS: There are unappropriated funds to cover contingencies;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:

That the Fire Department "Contract - Run Stipends" line item budget be increased from $1,000 to
$4,000;
 and,
That the Library "Grant Expenditure" line item budget be increased from $5,000 to $8,000; 
and,
That the Physical Facilities "City Hall Repair and Maintenance" line item budget be increased
from $5,000 to $7,000; 
and,
That contingency funds in the amount of $8,000 be appropriated for those purposes.
