CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON

RESOLUTION  1058 (1999)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
to sponsor Cycle Oregon as special City event


WHEREAS: Elgin has been selected as a lunch stop for Cycle Oregon; and

WHEREAS: Cycle Oregon wishes to enter into a contract with the community of
Elgin to provide lunch services for Saturday September 18, 1999, and;

WHEREAS: The City of Elgin is an appropriate agent to represent the
community in this event;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the City of Elgin hereby declares the
Cycle Oregon event to be a special City event sponsored by the City of Elgin;
and.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the Mayor is authorized to enter into a
contract with Cycle Oregon as necessary to for provisions of said sponsorship.
