CITY OF ELGIN, OREGON 


                     RESOLUTION  1037 (1997)

   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGENTS OF THE CITY TO SIGN CERTAIN
     GRANT DOCUMENTS FOR FUNDING CONSTRUCTION OF HUNAHA PARK


WHEREAS:  The City of Elgin has contracted for services to prepare and submit
grant requests and other financial arrangements to acquire construction funds
for the development of Hunaha Park, and;


WHEREAS: A number of grant documents are being prepared and must be
submitted with the signature of the City's officers;


NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
That the signature of the Mayor and the Recorder/Administrator are hereby
authorized on grant requests for funds that will provide for the construction
and/or co-ordination of construction of the facilities at Hunaha Park.
